MINSK, 25 July (BelTA) – Minsk Days are kicking off in Russia’s Omsk today, BelTA learned from the press service of the Minsk City Hall.
The Omsk Philharmonic Hall will host a concert of Belarusian performers and a photo exhibition entitled as Ancient and Ever-Young Minsk.
The Belarusian delegation comprising representatives of the cultural and business spheres, the Minsk City Hall, and the Minsk Council of Deputies has already arrived in Omsk to take part in the event. Chairman of the Minsk Council of Deputies Vasily Panasyuk is expected to meet with the Omsk mayor. The Minsk Council of Deputies and the Omsk Council are set to sign a protocol on cooperation. A wreath ceremony will take place in the Pobedy Park (Victory Park).
The program will also include a business forum and a business matchmaking session, with the presentation of the tourist, trade and economic potential of the Belarusian capital. The Belarusian delegation will be taken on a tour of Omsk companies, a business incubator and the city’s landmarks. Minsk Days will be over on 26 July.
The agreement on cooperation and partnership between Minsk and Omsk was signed in March 2013. Minsk hosted Omsk Days in May 2015.
