MINSK, 1 April (BelTA) – The Belarusian automobile engineering company MAZ has delivered the first batch of four third-generation diesel buses MAZ-303065 to the Minsk city public transport company Minsktrans, the press service of the enterprise told BelTA.
The low-floor buses have optimal dimensions for urban conditions: length is 12.43m, width is 2.55m, and height is 3.1m. The model offers 26 seats and can transport up to 110 passengers. The MAZ-303065 bus is powered by a Euro-5 210kW turbodiesel engine made by Daimler Company and uses a six-speed automatic gearbox made by ZF Concern.
The interior design relies on European standards. The central platform offers space for people with disabilities and wheelchair users. The footstep rises only 32cm above the ground. A retractable electric ramp is available.
Passengers in all seats will be able to charge their devices using USB sockets. Comfortable climate is enabled by five heaters and an air conditioner, which can cool or heat the air.
The driver’s seat has been designed bearing in mind the highest ergonomics standards. It is comfortable and high-tech. A new dashboard has been installed. Cameras enable 100% surveillance inside and outside the bus.
The bus boasts an independent front suspension and an elongated wheelbase. The braking system is pneumatic. The bus boasts reduced noise and vibrations in motion and is equipped with driver assistance systems.
