KIEV, 10 April (BelTA) – A large-scale exhibition of Belarusian producers, Made in Belarus, opened in Kiev, Ukraine on 10 April, BelTA has learned.
The exhibition will be held at the Kiev International Exhibition Center from 10 to 14 April. Taking part in the forum will be Belarus’ leading companies that will showcase their latest developments in mechanical engineering and petrochemistry, transport and logistics, agriculture and food products, light industry and tourism.
The expo will feature the country’s flagship companies in mechanical engineering and industrial equipment such as BelAZ, Amkodor, MAZ, MTZ, Gomselmash, Belarusian Steel Works, Mogilevliftmash, BATE and Mogilev Metallurgical Works. The products on display will include samples of mining, agricultural, passenger and road-building vehicles, engine starters and generators, security and fire systems, optical instruments and component parts.
New models of Gefest kitchen appliances will be on offer by Brestgazoapparat company. These are gas, gas-electric and electric cookers, built-in appliances and air cleaners.
Petrochemical products will be showcased by Belneftekhim enterprises: Grodno Azot, Naftan, Mogilevkhimvolokno, Gomel chemical plant, Mozyr oil refinery. Car and cargo tires with resource-saving technology will be presented by Belshina.
Models of innovative transport will be on show from Beltransnet.
A wide range of caring and decorative cosmetics, as well as a number of professional products for beauty salons, will be demonstrated by Belarus’ largest cosmetic companies in Belarus - Belita and Vitex.
Knitwear will be on offer from Belarus’ garment factories 8 Marta and Orsha Linen Mill. A wide range of hosiery products will be showcased by Conte Spa. A new line of women's and men's bags, backpacks, briefcases, suitcases and purses made of genuine leather and artificial materials will be demonstrated by Galantea.
Made in Belarus expo will also feature Belarus’ food and beverage manufacturers, including Dyatlovo cheese-making plant, Shchuchin creamery. Belarusian companies will display cheese, butter, flour and semi-finished products, oat cereals.
The National Tourism Agency will presents the country's tourism potential, its unique nature, rich cultural heritage, monuments of world importance, and also promote the forthcoming 2nd European Games MINSK 2019 and the 2021 IIHF World Championship.
The exhibition in Kiev will also include business program with presentations of Belarusian enterprises. The key event of the business program will be the conference "Ukraine-Belarus: prospects for cooperation" on 10 April. The event will be attended by representatives of government bodies of the two countries, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The exhibition Made in Belarus in Kiev is organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The operator is the Belinterexpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event is supported by the Embassy of Belarus in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, government bodies and business associations of the two countries.
