POLOTSK, 12 June (BelTA) – There is no room for negligence in agriculture, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said during his working trip to Polotsk on 12 June, BelTA has learned.
First of all, the head of state asked the governor about the situation in agriculture and the progress in fodder conservation. He pointed to the facts of carelessness, with hay remaining in the fields for a long time and getting wet in the rain, losing its quality.
“I am not going to teach you technology. The fodder will be of poor quality, and we will again face the loss of livestock,” said the Belarusian leader.
“I know that you are interested [in good performance], but sometimes it turns out the other way around. Please pay attention. Quality and nothing but quality!” the president said.
