MUSCAT, 15 December (BelTA) – Minsk seeks to turn into an international trade, logistics and manufacturing hub, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said in his article published on the Omandaily website, BelTA learned.
“Taking into consideration its location, Minsk also seeks to raise high-quality foreign direct investment in order to turn into an international trade, logistics and manufacturing hub,” the article reads.
He noted that Belarus offers excellent business opportunities for Omani companies looking for investment in non-resource industries. “Such a partnership will help build up production capacities in various sectors of the economy and increase the contribution of exports to the GDP of our countries," Aleksandr Lukashenko remarked.
According to the head of state, Belarusian exporters are ready to jointly build presence in new markets as part of Oman's national program to attract foreign investment.
