MINSK, 9 September (BelTA) – Belarusian companies presented their export potential on the international market of logistic services during the Belarusian-Chinese seminar “New capabilities of supply chains along the Belt and Road route”. The event was held during a China International Services Expo, representatives of the State Customs Committee of Belarus told BelTA.
The seminar gathered over 150 participants, including top executives of top Belarusian and Chinese logistic companies, manufacturers and exporters, industry associations, representatives of Belarus’ Customs, the Belarusian Transport and Communications Ministry, the Belarusian state food industry concern Belgospishcheprom, the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry, and the Industry Ministry.
The seminar was the first Belarusian-Chinese forum in the area of transport logistics. It allowed shipping companies of the two countries to establish communication for the sake of future business cooperation. Participants of the seminar stressed that amid the pandemic and the quarantine regime logistics and customs clearance have become a key element in the delivery of medical goods. Growing mutual trade also opens up markets for transport companies. The development of logistics creates competition and makes trade more profitable.
