MINSK, 29 August (BelTA) – The limit on the issuance of bonds for the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus (DBRB) has been increased 3.7 times for 2018. The decision is laid down in Resolution No.617/10 of 27 August 2018 signed by the Council of Ministers and the National Bank of Belarus. The document was officially posted on the National Legal Internet Portal, BelTA has learned.
According to the document, the limit on the issuance of bonds by the Development Bank for 2018 was increased from Br225 million to Br825 million.
The parameter is set annually. In 2017, it was Br217 million.
The Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus has been conducting activity in securities management since 2013. In line with the Tax Code, the revenue generated from the sales and redemption of the DBRB bonds, including interest income, is not taxed.
