MINSK, 12 July (BelTA) - Belarus is interested in setting up joint ventures and enterprises with Kyrgyzstan, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova said during a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Belarus Ermek Ibraimov, BelTA has learned.
"Kyrgyzstan and Belarus have good friendly relations and marked the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. The president of our country noted that over the years our cooperation has become deep and versatile. This is true," Natalya Kochanova said. “We are pleased that our trade is growing, that economic cooperation is developing quite well. Although there is no limit to perfection. We understand that. We would be interested in setting up joint ventures and enterprises."
The speaker recalled that the two countries have set up an intergovernmental commission. "I am sure that our cooperation in this regard will grow. As in all other areas of life of our countries," the Speaker emphasized. “We want to be friends and cooperate with those countries with which we have a shared history. We were in the same country once. It's very important for us."
