MINSK, 13 May (BelTA) – Kaluga Oblast Governor Anatoly Artamonov expressed interest in the supplies of Belarusian building materials, spokeswoman for the Ministry of Architecture and Construction Yevgenia Filimonova told BelTA after the meeting of the governor with Belarus’ Minister of Architecture and Construction Anatoly Chyorny. The meeting took place during the visit of the Belarusian delegation to Kaluga Oblast.
Kaluga Oblast plans to build a concrete road with the length of about 73km. Anatoly Artamonov expressed interest both in the Belarusian construction practices and supplies of building materials from Belarus. In particular, the parties to the meeting discussed the supplies of road metal.
Anatoly Artamonov also invited Belarusian construction companies take an active part in tenders held in Kaluga Oblast. “I cite Belarusians constructors as an example to everyone. Belarusian constructors have a name today. The main thing is to keep up the image,” he said.
For his part, Anatoly Chyorny stressed that he would keep the Belarusian companies that enter the market of Kaluga Oblast under his personal control.
Belarusian construction companies take an active part in the housing construction projects in Kaluga Oblast. The ground-breaking ceremony for the Belarusian residential area Malinovka took place in Kaluga in August 2013. On 3 March 2014 a delegation of the Ministry of Architecture and Construction took part in the presentation of the Malinovka area and the commissioning of the first 188-apartment house.
Besides, contracts were signed for the construction of the residential area Vesnushki in Kaluga Oblast. The project was launched in August 2015 and is implemented by Gomel and Vitebsk house-building companies. The first stage envisages the construction of six houses with the total area of 45,200 square meters.
