MINSK, 10 January (BelTA) – In December 2017 the index of consumer prices for goods and services totaled 104.6% as against December 2016, representatives of the National Statistics Committee of Belarus told BelTA.
In December 2017 inflation in Belarus totaled 0.2% in comparison with November 2017.
In December 2017 the base index of consumer prices, which does not account for changes in prices for individual goods and services susceptible to administrative and seasonal factors stood at 99.6% in comparison with November 2017 and 102.5% in comparison with December 2016.
In December 2017 food prices went up by 0.7% in comparison November 2017 and 4.2% in comparison with December 2016. Non-food prices went down by 0.9% in comparison November 2017 and grew up by 2% in comparison with December 2016.
In December 2017 the index of prices for and tariffs on paid services totaled 100.5% as against November 2017 and 109.5% as against December 2016.
