MINSK, 10 March (BelTA) – In February 2020 the index of consumer prices for goods and services totaled 101% as against January, and 101.9% as against December 2019, BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee of Belarus.
The base index of consumer prices, which does not account for changes in prices for individual goods and services susceptible to administrative and seasonal factors, totaled 100.3% as against January 2020 and 100.9% as against December 2019.
Prices for foods rose by 0.7% from January 2020 and 1.8% over December 2019. Prices for non-foods rose by 0.5% over January and 1.2% as against December 2020. Prices for services went up by 2.3% from January and 2.9% from December 2019.
