MINSK, 12 March (BelTA) – In February 2018 the index of consumer prices for goods and services totaled 100.9% as against January and 101.7% as against December 2017, BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee of Belarus.
The base index of consumer prices, which does not account for changes in prices for individual goods and services susceptible to administrative and seasonal factors, stood at 100.2% in February 2018 vs January 2018 and 100.9% as against December 2017.
In February 2018 food prices rose by 0.6% over January 2018 and 3.9% as against December 2017. Non-food prices went up by 0.2% over January 2018 and 2.2% in comparison with February a year earlier.
In January 2018 the index of prices for and tariffs on paid services totaled 102.5% as against January 2018 and 110.9% as against February 2017.
