MINSK, 9 February (BelTA) – In January 2018 the index of consumer prices for goods and services totaled 100.8% as against December 2017, BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee of Belarus.
The base index of consumer prices, which does not account for changes in prices for individual goods and services susceptible to administrative and seasonal factors, stood at 100.8% in January 2018 vs December 2017.
In January 2018 food prices rose by 0.8% in comparison December 2017 and 3.8% as against January 2017. Non-food prices went up by 0.8% over December 2017 and 2% in comparison with January a year earlier.
In January 2018 the index of prices for and tariffs on paid services totaled 100.5% as against December 2017 and 109.8% as against January 2017.
