MINSK, 11 May (BelTA) – In April 2020, the index of consumer prices for goods and services totaled 100.6% as against March 2020, and 103.3% as against December 2019, BelTA learned from the National Statistics Committee of Belarus.
In April, the base index of consumer prices, which does not account for changes in prices for individual goods and services susceptible to administrative and seasonal factors, totaled 100.4% as against March 2020 and 102.5% as against December 2019.
Prices for foods rose by 1.3% from March 2020 and 3.5% over December 2019.
Prices for non-foods increased by 0.3% over March 2020 and 2.8% as against December 2019.
In April, prices for services went down by 0.2% from March 2020 and rose by 3.8% over December 2019.
