Industrial cooperation viewed as basis for Belarus-Kazakhstan interaction

MINSK, 8 June (BelTA) -  Industrial cooperation makes basis for interaction between Belarus and Kazakhstan, said Belarusian First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov, BelTA learned from the Telegram channel of the Belarusian government.

“The basis of our relations is industrial cooperation. Seven Belarusian enterprises operate in Kazakhstan, including Gomselmash, MTZ and Bobruiskagromash. They are steadily increasing the supply of machine sets to Kazakhstan,” said Nikolai Snopkov.

As for new cooperation prospects, the parties discussed the production of fire-fighting vehicles on the basis of chassis of MAZ and Pozhsnab enterprise. “This is a new promising niche that needs to be filled with our equipment,” the first deputy prime minister said.

Speaking of trade cooperation, Nikolai Snopkov said: “We are able to increase mutual supplies with Kazakhstan by $200 million.”
