MINSK, 17 April (BelTA) – Indian companies are interested in advancing various joint projects together with Belarus, including as part of the Belarusian-Indian investment cluster located in the special economic zone Bremino-Orsha, representatives of the Embassy of Belarus in India told BelTA.
Ambassador of Belarus to India Andrei Rzheussky visited the city of Pune, State of Maharashtra. The trip was arranged upon the invitation of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and was part of the ambassador’s regional tour. The trip was also part of preparations for a Belarusian-Indian investment forum.
Andrei Rzheussky took part in an interactive session with representatives of the private sector of the State of Maharashtra. He presented Belarus’ investment and export potential. Participants of the meeting discussed ideas and projects for advancing Belarus-India cooperation in the manufacturing sector, pharmaceutics, digital technologies, textile and petrochemical industries, tourism, and other spheres.
Representatives of a dozen Indian companies expressed interest in advancing various joint projects together with Belarus, including as part of the Belarusian-Indian investment cluster located in the special economic zone Bremino-Orsha. An agreement was reached on promoting the relevant mutually beneficial projects and on organizing visits of representatives of interested companies to Belarus.
