MINSK, 22 January (BelTA) – India and Belarus will consider a possibility to launch direct flights, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Belarus Sangeeta Bahadur said during a press conference at the National Press Center on 22 January, BelTA has learned.
The diplomat informed that Belarus had approached the Indian embassy with a proposal to open direct flights. In her words, these proposals were forwarded to India. The ambassador noted that the process will take some time, however she is optimistic about the prospects of direct flights between the two capitals.
Sangeeta Bahadur is convinced that direct flights will greatly benefit the tourism industry of the two countries.
