MINSK, 24 May (BelTA) – The Hungarian OTP Bank is interested in cooperation with Belarus. The relevant ideas were discussed during the meeting of Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov and OTP Bank Chairman and CEO Sandor Csanyi on 24 May, the press service of the Belarus government told BelTA.
The meeting touched upon prospects of advancing trade and economic relations between Belarus and Hungary as well as possibilities of partnership with OTP Bank. According to Andrei Kobyakov, Belarus and Hungary have the potential for raising their trade turnover. “We believe we can add a lot as far as trade and economic relations are concerned,” stated the Prime Minister.
The head of government also suggested discussing opportunities of cooperation with OTP Bank. “We are ready to get down to discussing the matters you are interested in,” he said.
In turn, Sandor Csanyi thanked the prime minister and the Belarus government for the opportunity to discuss topical partnership matters. “We are interested in cooperation,” said the OTP Bank CEO.
