MINSK, 24 July (BelTA) - In January-May 2020, resident companies of the Free Economic Zone Grodnoinvest exported $53 million worth of products to Moscow and Moscow Oblast, with the trade totaling $62 million, BelTA learned from the administration of the Free Economic Zone Grodnoinvest.
This year, 46 Grodnoinvest resident companies are supplying goods to Moscow and Moscow Oblast. These companies work in engineering, woodworking, textile, chemical and food industries. The list of exported products is diverse featuring meat preserves, furniture, hosiery, alkyd resins, medium density fiber boards, containers of ferrous metal, wires and cables, herbicides, yarn, plastics, and metal fabric.
In turn, Moscow companies supply Grodnoinvest resident companies with mainly raw materials for the manufacture of finished products: soybeans, paper and cardboard, carbamide and melamine resins, wire made of refined copper, other metal structures and products made of ferrous metal.
Grodnoinvest’s major exporters are: Conte Spa, ZOV-LenEvromebel, Kvinfood, Belkard, Grodnorajagroservis, Novogrudok Gas Equipment Plant, Kronospan, Lakokraska, Avtoprovod Shchuchin Plant, and Konus. These companies account for 72% of Grodnoinvest’s total exports to Moscow and Moscow Oblast of Russia.
