MINSK, 28 June (BelTA) – Products made by companies of Russia’s Voronezh Oblast will be traded in the import substitution section of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, BUCE spokesperson Roman Yaniv told BelTA.
Interest in selling their products at BUCE was expressed by a number of companies from Voronezh Oblast who participated in the Belarusian-Russian business forum at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Taking into account the high demand for goods for the construction industry, that account for about 45% of the turnover of the B2B exchange platform, BUCE plans to attract the Voronezh plant Stall-Doors. The company, one of the leading manufacturer of fire-protection structures in the Central Black Earth region of Russia, is ready to sell a wide range of fire doors, hatches and gates to Belarus via BUCE.
The Voronezh Semiconductor Plant also showed interest in the Belarusian import substitution platform. Through BUCE, the company intends to reach large Belarusian consumers of transistors, LED lamps and power sources, and in the future to conclude transit deals with companies from other regions of Russia and third countries.
In order to more effectively involve Voronezh business in exchange trade, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Voronezh Oblast will assist with raising awareness of the BUCE import substitution platform. A corresponding agreement was reached with its Vice President Nikolai Shchipelev. The first joint event (an onsite seminar on exchange trading for Voronezh companies) will be held in the autumn of 2022.
