MINSK, 19 January (BelTA) – Germany buys firefighting equipment from Belarus, Belarusian Emergencies Minister Vladimir Vashchenko said at a press conference on 19 January, BelTA has learned.
“We are glad that the equipment designed by our scientists and manufactured by our enterprises is in demand abroad. For example, the Mogilev Ribbon Weaving Mill makes firefighter belts. Germany has already bought tens of thousands of such belts,” Vladimir Vashchenko pointed out.
He noted that Russia and Kazakhstan also purchase Belarus-made firefighter gear. “Our gear is on par with foreign products in terms of quality and safety, and it is cheaper,” the minister added.
