MINSK, 3 March (BelTA) – Firms from Germany and Austria may become resident companies of the Belarusian-Chinese Industrial Park Great Stone, Belarus’ Economy Minister Vladimir Zinovsky said in an interview to the ONT TV channel, BelTA has learned.
“The construction of the infrastructure of the Belarusian-Chinese Industrial Park Great Stone is underway. There are eight residents, big Chinese companies, which are ready to join the project. It is not only Chinese business that we invite. I have recently met with the German Ambassador who confirmed Germany’s interest in the project. Austria also shows its interest,” said Vladimir Zinovsky.
The minister is confident that once 2-3 companies come to the Great Stone, the industrial park will welcome many more. “However, we need to go some way in the development of the park in order to prove its efficiency,” he added.
