BAKU, 5 May (BelTA-Trend) – Minsk Tractor Works and Ganja Automobile Plant signed a memorandum on the supply and assembly of 2,000 Belarusian tractors in Azerbaijan in 2016.
The document was signed by Director General of Minsk Tractor Works Fyodor Domotenko and head of the supervisory board of Ganja Automobile Plant Khanlar Fatiyev.
The talks resulted in an agreement on entering third markets together with ready-made goods. The parties also discussed the issue of localizing the production in Azerbaijan.
Ganja Automobile Plant assembles tractors Belarus, MAZ and KamAZ trucks. Apart from it, the plant produces various equipment for tractors Belarus.
Minsk Tractor Works was founded has assembly enterprises in Russia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, China, Romania, Serbia, Algeria, Venezuela, and other countries. In 2015 the Belarusian company traded with partners from 76 countries.
