MINSK, 28 September (BelTA) – Five companies will become residents of the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park Great Stone in the near future, head of the park’s administration Andrei Gal told reporters on 28 September, BelTA has learned.
“Out of 14 companies which have signed letters of intent we closely cooperate with five companies. They will be registered in the near future. They are studying issues which should be completed before becoming residents of the park. Land plots have been chosen for them, they are aware of the requirements of providing land plots,” Andrei Gal said.
He also spoke about the Belarusian resident of the park – NanoPectin. There are plans to build a plant to make digestible covers for medications from local raw materials, first of all, apples. “Only four countries in the world produce sufficient volumes of pectin. It is traded at the commodity exchange like gold and oil. I hope that the Belarusian company will satisfy the local demand and sell its products abroad,” Andrei Gal said.
