MINSK, 18 April (BelTA) – The annual conference to discuss Belarus’ export to the EU will take place on 23 April, BelTA learned from the National Marketing Center of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This year the conference will feature the petrochemical industry. “Products made by Belneftekhim Concern dominate Belarus’ export to the EU member states. The conference is designed to identify factors impeding expansion of petrochemical exports to the EU and ways to resolve them,” the press service noted.
The participants of the conference will analyze the structure of Belarusian export of petrochemical products to the EU and assess the impact of tariff and non-tariff barriers. There are plans to work out a set of measures to maintain stable supplies of petroleum products from Belarus to the EU.
Taking part in the conference will be Belarus’ Permanent Representative to the EU Aleksandr Mikhnevich, heads of companies affiliated with Belneftekhim Concern, top managers of the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus, and heads of big consulting companies.
The event is held at the initiative of Belarus’ Delegation to the EU. The organizer is the National Marketing Center of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
