MINSK, 12 June (BelTA) – The Expo-Russia Belarus will take place in Minsk on 21-23 June, BelTA learned from David Vartanov, chairman of the organizing committee, on 12 June.
According to the source, the expo is scheduled for 21-23 June. Over 40 Russian companies from eight regions of the country will present their stands during the expo.
It will be the second expo of the kind. The first Expo-Russia Belarus took place in 2015. The expo is meant to bolster economic, humanitarian, social, cultural, and political ties between Belarus and Russia.
The expo will be subdivided into power engineering, including nuclear energy, oil and gas industry, agriculture and agribusiness, geology and mining industry, civil engineering, woodworking, and instrument making.
The business program of the expo includes a Minsk business forum, the conference “Russia-Belarus: Cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union”, roundtable sessions involving representatives of Belarusian ministries and government agencies, and a B2B business matchmaking session.
