MINSK, 9 August (BelTA) – The investment and finance group Exim Finance is studying the potential of the Belarusian market with a view to implementing investment projects, BelTA learned from representatives of the National Agency of Investment and Privatization of Belarus after a meeting with the company’s official representative Kamila Yelshibekova.
The agency’s Deputy Director Denis Meleshkin informed Kamila Yelshibekova about the main advantages of doing business in Belarus, about tax incentives, and presented a number of investment proposals. Representatives of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Eximgarant of Belarus took part in the meeting as well.
In turn, Kamila Yelshibekova mentioned Exim Finance’s interest in implementing projects in the area of renewable and alternative energy, tourism, processing industry, and civil engineering.
Denis Meleshkin invited top Exim Finance executives to attend the Belarusian Industrial and Investment Forum, which is due to take place in Minsk in September 2019. The Belarusian side confirmed readiness to help Exim Finance implement its investment intentions in Belarus.
Founded in 2011, the investment and finance group Exim Finance has implemented over 150 investment projects. In the last three years the sum of investments of the company exceeded $250 million. The company is mainly interested in renewable energy sources, food industry, civil engineering and infrastructure, tourism. Exim Finance has six international offices in Europe, the USA, India, China, Africa, and Kazakhstan.
