MOSCOW, 15 June (BelTA) – The Eurasian Economic Commission will arrange an international seminar on regulatory challenges of cryptocurrencies and the blockchain technology in the context of macroeconomic stability of the Eurasian Economic Union in Minsk on 18 June, the commission’s press service told BelTA.
The seminar will focus on the development of legislation to regulate cryptocurrencies, blockchain startups, and ICOs, the creation of harmonized work rules for citizens, companies, and the market as a whole in the Eurasian space.
The event will take place in the business incubator of the Hi-Tech Park. Representatives of regulatory bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union member states, development institutions, the private sector, and industry associations are expected to take part in the seminar. Tatiana Valovaya, Member of the Board (Minister) for Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission, will act as the moderator.
