MINSK, 5 July (BelTA) – The prospects of investment and industrial cooperation, setting up joint ventures for the assembly of Belarusian automobile and agricultural equipment, manufacture of other high-tech products were discussed at the meeting of Belarus’ Ambassador to Ecuador Igor Poluyan with Ecuadorean Minister of Industry and Productivity Eva Garcia Fabre, BelTA learned from the diplomatic mission in Quito.
Joint projects in these industries will help satisfy the demand of the Ecuadorean market and export corresponding products to neighboring countries in South America, the representatives of the embassy explained.
Igor Poluyan and advisor of the embassy Georgy Kislyak accompanying him held a presentation of the economic, agricultural, scientific, technical, and educational potential of Belarus.
“The Ecuadorean side expressed interest in studying the Belarusian experience of setting up modern industrial enterprises. In this context, the participants of the talks shared opinions on the possibility to organize visits of Ecuador’s official delegations and business missions to Belarus in the near future,” BelTA learned from the diplomatic mission.
