MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) – Belarus’ Economy Minister Vladimir Zinovsky will head a Belarusian delegation at the OECD Eurasia Week 2016 which will be held at the headquarters of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in Paris on 22-24 November, according to the information posted on the website of the ministry.
The visit and topical issues of trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries were discussed during a meeting between Belarus’ Economy Minister Vladimir Zinovsky and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Belarus Didier Canesse.
Vladimir Zinovsky noted with satisfaction that now Belarus and France maintain highly intensive bilateral contacts. “Our countries cooperate in trade, investment, transport, science, environment, agriculture, education, health, culture, and tourism. In all these areas, we have not only achieved some successes but also have a great potential for growth,” the minister said.
He also thanked France for the constructive position as the EU was making a decision to cancel most of the restrictive measures against Belarus in February of this year.
