Direct cargo flight may connect Belarus’ Orsha, China’s Haikou

MINSK, 25 May (BelTA) – Consul General of Belarus in Guangzhou Andrei Popov took part in the BRI International Smart Logistics Development Summit 2021, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Guangzhou.

The event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Guangzhou and the Guangzhou Logistics Association.

In his speech, Andrei Popov got the forum participants familiar with the transport, logistics and investment potential of Belarus and the prospects of Belarusian-Chinese cooperation in the sector.

Separate presentations at the conference were made by a representative of the Industrial Park Development Company, which spoke about the logistics potential of the Great Stone Park. Via video link from Haikou the management of SemProGroup presented the Bremino-Orsha and the project of establishing a direct cargo flight Orsha-Haikou.
