Digital transformation of Belarusian economy discussed with Microsoft experts

MINSK, 14 March (BelTA) – First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Turchin and Director of the Hi-Tech Park Vsevolod Yanchevsky met with a group of international experts of Microsoft Corporation, the press service of the Belarusian government told BelTA.

The sides exchanged their opinions and vision of ways of digital transformation of branches of the Belarusian economy and the social sphere. Microsoft’s experience of implementing digital projects in the areas of digital government, healthcare, production sector, and other sectors in other countries was reviewed.

Alexander Turchin said after the meeting: “The experience of other countries is important for us. We would like the nascent strategy for the digital transformation of the Belarusian economy to include the best practices and projects with the largest effect for the population, the private sector, and the state.”
