Data center in China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone to cater to financial companies

MINSK, 17 August (BelTA) – A new resident company will set up a data center for financial information powered by cloud computing in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone. The agreement to set up the new resident company – OOO GTA (MSK) Data Technologies – was signed on 16 August, BelTA learned from the industrial park website.

The project has been initiated by the Chinese company Shenzhen GTA Education Tech Ltd. The new resident company intends to create an open cloud computing platform in the industrial park in order to service financial data in many areas.

The data center is expected to handle financial data of China’s main stock exchanges as well as the stock market in Central and Eastern Europe. Chinese brokerage companies, investment funds, and other financial institutions are expected to use these services.

Shenzhen GTA Education Tech Ltd. is a Chinese high-tech company offering solutions to Chinese and international education and investment companies for the sake of working with research data, creating cloud computing platforms and software. The company employs over 2,000 professionals. The revenue exceeds $100 million per annum.
