MINSK, 14 February (BelTA) – The construction of the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone proceeds on schedule, Kirill Koroteyev, First Deputy Director General of SZAO Industrial Park Development Company, told BelTA.
“The construction of the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone proceeds on the schedule approved by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Economy Ministry of Belarus. In 2015, major efforts were made to create the engineering and transport infrastructure which was being built in terms of concurrent design,” noted Kirill Koroteyev.
Planning documents regarding the construction of roads and engineering networks as well as five sites for engineering facilities (first stage water extraction installations, a second stage pumping station, sewage and rainwater pumping stations, rainwater treatment facilities, a centralized boiler-house) were developed and underwent a government expert review in 2015, said the specialist.
Kirill Koroteyev emphasized that mostly Belarusian materials and equipment are used in the project designs, the work has been done together with the leading Chinese and Belarusian organizations (HuaBei Planning and Design Institute, Belkommunproject, Minskinzhproject).
