MINSK, 14 September (BelTA) – Belarusian and Indian construction companies will work together on third markets, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich told a briefing at BelTA’s press center on 14 September.
“During the forum a strategic agreement was signed with Belzarubezhstroi that provides services on foreign markets. The agreement was signed with the National Construction Corporation. It is a long-term document that envisages Belarusian specialists taking part in designing and construction projects. The agreement is about the joint activity on third markets with the participation of our design institutes, engineers and other specialists,” Vladimir Ulakhovich said.
The head of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry emphasized the importance of the memorandum that was signed by the Belarusian Potash Company. Under the document, Belarus and India agreed to increase potash fertilizer supplies.
On 11 September New Delhi played host to the Belarusian-Indian business forum. Attending the event was a big Belarusian delegation that consisted of government representatives, heads of different concerns and enterprises. The businessmen of the two countries discussed the prospects of cooperation in mechanical engineering and woodworking, petro chemistry and mining industry, pharmaceutical industry, biotechnologies, food industry, education and healthcare, IT and services, trade and investment, export and import operations and financial activity, the implementation of infrastructure projects.
