Composite materials company to open in China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone

MINSK, 9 January (BelTA) – An R&D company specializing in engineering and making products out of composite materials will be established in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone, BelTA learned from the park’s website.

Two new resident companies were registered in the park on 3 January 2018. One will specialize in composite structures while the other one will focus on film coating technologies for automobile industry.

The composite structures company will implement an investment project in 2018-2022 to set up an R&D company for engineering and making products out of composite materials. Equipment and technologies from the German company Dieffenbacher System Automation GmbH will be used as part of the manufacturing process. A total of €220 million will be invested in the project.

The automotive film coating technologies company intends to implement an investment project to start producing lighting solutions for automobiles using technologies of Lanzhou Dacheng High-Tech Company (China). As much as $12 million will be invested in the project.
