MINSK, 5 October (BelTA) – About 300 organizations from 14 countries will take part in the 21st Belarusian Energy and Ecology Forum in Minsk, the organizers of the event told reporters before the press conference dedicated to the Belarusian Energy and Ecology Forum in Minsk and the 5th Belarusian-German Energy Forum hosted by BelTA.
The Belarusian Energy and Ecology Forum will take place in Minsk on 11-14 October. The forum which has been held since 1995 traditionally attracts leading manufacturers of equipment, technologies, and materials for the energy sector, ecology, energy saving, electric equipment, and is one of the largest specialized events in the CIS and Baltic countries. In 2016 partaking in it will be the representatives of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Czechia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Finland, Sweden. The event will be attended by the leading enterprises of the Belarusian energy sector. Other participants are world-famous brands Siemens, ABB, Caterpillar, Wilo, Filter, etc.
The exposition will include sections of the Energy Ministry, the Industry Ministry, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, the Utilities Ministry, the State Science and Technology Committee, the Energy Efficiency Department of the State Standardization Committee.
The forum will include the 21st international specialized expo Energy. Ecology. Energy Saving. Electro; the 21st specialized expo Water and Air Technologies; the 12th specialized expo of lighting equipment ExpoSvet; and the 21st Belarusian Energy and Ecology Congress.
The organizing committee led by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko has been formed to monitor the preparations for the forum.
The forum aims to showcase modern achievements in science and technologies in the energy sector, energy saving, environmental protection, the use of renewable energy sources. Every year the forum becomes a unique place for the meetings of energy specialists, ecologists, and other export from Belarus and other countries. It helps promote cooperation, the exchange of cutting-edge scientific products and innovative projects.
