MINSK, 6 June (BelTA) – The 16th session of the CIS Council of Heads of Supreme Financial Audit Agencies will take place in Minsk on 7-8 June, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian State Control Committee.
The session will focus on the role of supreme financial audit agencies of the CIS member states in ensuring the economic security: modern approaches, new prospects and opportunities, adaptation of changes.
At present supreme financial audit agencies play a crucial role in ensuring the economic security. Detailed audit and control in this field is aimed at unveiling problems in the economic and social sector, working out proposals to improve the state of affairs, including at the legislative level.
At the forum in Minsk experts will share their experience and achievements taking into account the specifics of their work and the national legislation. They will pass resolutions and a joint statement at the 16th session of the council, approve the action plan, etc.
Partaking in the session will be the delegation of financial audit units of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan. The delegation of Slovakia’s Supreme Audit Office will be the guest of the forum.
