China’s ZTE, Huawei to launch construction projects in Great Stone park in 2015

MINSK, 7 May (BelTA) – The Chinese corporations ZTE and Huawei will launch the construction of high-tech manufacturing facilities in the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park Great Stone in 2015. The information was provided on the ONT TV Channel, BelTA has learned.

According to the TV channel, ZTE will open a production of electronic means of communication, while Huawei will focus on breakthrough scientific research. “We have been introducing modern technologies in Belarus for more than 10 years. There are our representative offices here and we know the country’s advantages. The most important resource of Belarusians for us is education and a high intellectual level. We have special plans for your talented software specialists. We will build an innovation smart center and the most advanced laboratories in the industrial park,” Huawei Vice President Jeff Liu said.

The organization of high-technology facilities in the industrial park will start after the construction of the engineering and transport infrastructure. According to Belarus’ Vice Premier Anatoly Kalinin, the first stage envisages the commissioning of roads of 1.1km in length.
