China-UK freight train service via Belarus now available
MINSK, 3 January (BelTA) – A new freight train service between China and the UK has been launched, BelTA learned from China Daily.
During the trial period the train will travel once a week for 12,000km within about 18 days. The train will cross Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Germany, Belgium, and France.
The first freight train will deliver household articles, apparel, fabrics, bags, and suitcases from China to the UK.
The new service is operated by China's Yiwu Timex Industrial Investment Company.
