Chinese partners noted that China has recently found new opportunities to develop the agro-industrial complex. “We are interested in implementing joint projects to produce farming machinery for harvesting wheat, rice and potato. We are ready to assist in the search for reliable partners, investors and continue cooperation with Gomselmash. We are also interested in cooperation with Belarus’ Spartak which produces confectionery that meets the requirements of Chinese consumers,” noted Zhang Wanping.
Gomselmash’s joint company has been working to set up joint ventures in Chinese provinces, and looking into the possibility of setting up a joint venture with China’s Zoomlion at Gomselmash Holding Company. Spartak confectionery products have been certified for the Chinese market and can be sold in eight Chinese provinces today.
Gomel has been developing interregional cooperation with Harbin as part of the international documents signed between the two parties. The international documents include the agreement on friendship and cooperation, the twinning agreement, and the cooperation plan of action for 2015-2018.
