China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone companies to start making lasers, diesel engines this year

MINSK, 29 August (BelTA) – The production of laser equipment and diesel engines will begin in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone in 2018, BelTA learned from Kirill Koroteyev, First Deputy Director General of SZAO Industrial Park Development Company, on 29 August.

The ceremony to inaugurate a supercapacitor R&D and manufacturing center took place in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone on 29 August. The project is being implemented by OOO Chengdu Xinzhu Silk Road Development. “It is the first mass production facility in the industrial park. We expect another two manufacturing facilities to be commissioned by the end of the year. They will make laser equipment and diesel engines. The first one is being built by an American investor, the second one by OOO MAZ-Weichai. ”

The China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone is a territorial unit occupying 112.5km2 and offering a special legal regime to enable comfortable business operation terms. It is now home to 37 resident companies.
