China-Belarus industrial park development company authorized capital up 150 times in 7 years

SMOLEVICHI DISTRICT, 27 August (BelTA) - The Industrial Park Development Company has increased its authorized capital 150 times in seven years, BelTA learned from Kirill Koroteyev, First Deputy Director General of the Industrial Park Development Company.

“The company’s starting capital was quite small seven years ago. The authorized capital equaled $1 million. Since then, it has increased 150 times, as we have attracted big shareholders,” Kirill Koroteyev noted. “In seven years, we have designed a general plan of the industrial park, a plan of the residential area, infrastructure, and the first facilities of residents. Today we have commissioned the first residential house. Its future occupants will get the keys to their apartments in October.”

At present, the company is busy drawing up the second stage of the industrial park development. For example, a site near the airport (around 850ha) was allotted to a railway station. The development company is already constructing access railroads for freight traffic and setting up a company to build the station. Geodesic exploration of the site is also underway. The Industrial Park Development Company has started to design engineering infrastructure of the second stage. “Next year we will focus primarily on the second stage of development,” Kirill Koroteyev said.
