Budpragres 2021 expo features over 50 companies from five countries

MINSK, 14 September (BelTA) – Over 50 companies from five countries are taking part in the international construction exhibition Budpragres 2021 which kicked off in Minsk on 14 September, BelTA has learned.

Taking part in the event are companies from Belarus, India, Latvia, Russia and Ukraine. The domestic manufacturers attending the expo include the Belarusian Glass Company, Berezastroymaterialy, Gomel Glass, Grodno Glass Plant, Keramika, Krasnoselskstroymaterialy, Radoshkovichi Ceramic Plant, Neman Glassworks and others.

Indian ceramics is also on show. “The Indian province of Morbi is world famous for its ceramics. Wall and floor tiles, porcelain tiles in various sizes, sanitary ware and tableware are produced there. The province accounts for 90% of Indian and 13% of world ceramic production. Indian ceramics products are in high demand in the domestic market, but their export is relatively low. In Belarus, the interest in Indian ceramics is actively growing. That is why this year Indian manufacturers have presented their products at the Budpragres 2021 expo. A large delegation of Indian ceramics manufacturers has arrived in Minsk to find new partners in Belarus,” representatives of MinskExpo said.

Beltelecom will present modern telecommunication solutions for the construction industry. The company’s exposition will get visitors and participants of the exhibition familiar with complex projects that can be successfully applied in innovative construction. Today, the company is ready to implement any telecommunication project on a turnkey basis and to offer its scenarios for prospective concepts such as “smart house” and “smart city”.

The business program will include Innovations in Construction 2021 forum that will feature seminars on the possibilities of forensic construction expertise in resolving disputes in construction, on trends in construction equipment development, and also on safety in the construction industry.

Days of Design in Belarus will welcome interior designers and everyone interested in fashion trends. The event will be organized by the European School of Interior, Design and Decor. “Renowned experts will hold lectures, workshops, presentations and panel discussions. The event will also include a workshop on design projects for those interested in getting free advice from designers and even choosing a designer for their home,” the exhibition company said.

The exhibition will be running at the Football Arena from 14 to 17 September. Budpragres is an additional opportunity to introduce the latest technologies, materials and constructions to the construction market. It is a center of experience exchange, which promotes not only the development of the construction industry, but also attracts investments to this sector of the economy, strengthens business relations between Belarusian and foreign companies, Minskexpo said.

This year among the traditional sections of the Budpragres exhibition there are some newcomers - Design and Interiors, Design and Modeling, Hi-Tech in Architecture and Construction, and Modern Furnace Engineering. “It is in these areas where huge progress has been made in recent years. The new sections feature offerings from domestic and foreign companies.
