BREST, 14 February (BelTA) – Brest will host its second international forum-exhibition of business contacts on 27-28 April, BelTA learned from the Brest Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The forum will include a series of discussions and an exposition area. The event will provide a great opportunity to talk over the issues related to investing, establishing and strengthening long-term cooperation in production, trade and services. Invited to take part in the discussions are domestic and foreign businessmen, potential investors. The plenary sessions will highlight the most important matters pertaining to the activity of companies and specialists of different economic sectors, and will include a B2B exchange.
The exposition will feature the economic and investment potential of Brest Oblast. Companies will showcase their products and services: production of food and drinks, building materials and services, light and chemical industry, mechanical engineering, agriculture, transport, banking and insurance. The exhibition will also offer the best investment projects of the region.
“The forum is aimed at creating opportunities to develop a dialogue between Belarusian and foreign business partners, implement promising business ideas and projects, promote Belarusian exports proand set up new science-intensive manufacturing facilities in the region. It is difficult to overestimate the importance of such events. At the same time their efficiency depends on many factors, including efforts and ambition of the business itself, intentions to build up a constructive dialogue with the partner, abilities to show the proposal in the best light,” noted Director General of the Brest Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Valery Labun.
The first forum-exhibition of business contacts gathered nearly 130 companies from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Italy, China, and Latvia in Brest in April 2016. The exhibition was visited by about 30 countries, including representatives of trade and economic services of the embassies accredited in Belarus.
Among the organizers of the forum are the Brest Oblast Executive Committee and the Brest Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
