BREST, 6 March (BelTA) – Brest Oblast companies will take part in the international construction exhibition BUDMA 2015 which is due in Polish Poznan on 10-13 March, BelTA learnt from deputy head of the department of foreign economic cooperation and customs clearance at the Brest Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vasily Zamula.
The business visit is organized jointly with the Polish-Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Belarusian embassy in Poland. The Brest delegation will comprise businessmen and representatives of the oblast big companies: Granit, Berezastroimaterialy, WoodPlace, Brest High-Voltage Power Lines and other companies. The participants of the exhibition will be able to place their promotional materials on the stands of the Polish-Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
“The Belarusian delegation is also expected to hold talks with representatives of the Polish construction firms. Our producers are eager to enter European markets. The Polish business, for its part, shows interest in the Belarusian market. I think this mutual interest will help establish and develop business contacts,” Vasily Zamula.
In his words, BUDMA 2015 is Poland’s central exhibition project. The number of its participants is usually over 1,000 exhibitors from more than 30 countries. This year the exhibition in Poznan will showcase the latest building materials, equipment and technology in architecture and construction.
Another group of Belarusian businessmen are expected to visit Poland one of these days. The Brest Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry jointly with the Lublin Business Club will organize a business visit to the international expo AGRO-PARK which is due to take place in Lublin on 6-8 March. The delegation will comprise sole traders and representatives of small and medium-sized business of Brest and Minsk Oblasts. Thus, among the participants will be Brestnasosprom, Adob-Agro, Minsk Vegetable factory. AGRO-PARK is an annual exhibition featuring more than 200 exhibitors from Poland and other European countries. The exhibition showcases the latest achievements in the production of agricultural equipment, technology in crop production and gardening, fertilizers and plant protecting agents, cultivation, processing and packaging of agricultural products.
