MOGILEV, 3 June (BelTA) – A memorandum of understanding was signed between Bobruiskagromash and MTW PAK during the visit of the Belarusian delegation to Pakistan, BelTA learnt from the marketing department of the Bobruisk company.
During the talks the parties expressed interest in developing cooperation in the deliveries of farm machinery, discussed prospects of setting up an assembling plant in Pakistan with a view to advancing farm equipment to the markets of Pakistan and the neighboring countries.
The concluded agreement is designed to give a new impetus to agricultural development in Pakistan and accelerate its modernization, secure a systemic and comprehensive approach to the organization of new production and creation of jobs, improve service maintenance with the introduction of new quality standards, provide staff training.
“For our company Pakistan may open new and serious opportunities in export diversification. It is a huge and promising market with vigorously developing agricultural industry. Pakistani agrarians need farm machinery and we are ready to provide them with it as well as develop new models in line with Pakistan’s needs and climate,” the company said.
Founded in 1974, the Bobruisk company was reincorporated as a joint-stock company in 2005. In 2012 it was named Bobruiskagromash Management Holding Company which is today one of the biggest producers of agricultural equipment in Belarus and the CIS. The company produces towed machinery for fodder conservation, equipment and vehicles for distributing fertilizers, flax harvesting and other purposes.
