ISLAMABAD, 10 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian company Belstankoinstrument will conduct modernization of enterprises in Pakistan, Belarus’ Industry Minister Vitaly Vovk told journalists on 10 November, BelTA has learned.
“We have agreed that the Belarusian holding company Belstankoinstrument will carry out modernization of Pakistani enterprises. The cooperation between Belarus and Pakistan is getting stronger. High-level and top-level visits help us establish partnership ties. We should meet more often to step up our cooperation,” Vitaly Vovk believes.
According to him, an agreement has been reached to invite business representatives of Pakistan working in the manufacturing industry to Belarus so that they could get familiar with the Belarusian capabilities. “We have agreed to invite representatives of the business circles who work in the manufacturing industry including the automotive components manufactures. Pakistan supplies automotive components for the world's leading auto manufacturers. We need to consider the cooperation from the point of view of further localization of production of our equipment,” the Minister noted.
According to him, the roadmap of bilateral cooperation signed between Belarus and Pakistan today includes all the previously signed agreements and memoranda: all in all, about 40 documents. The roadmap brings them all into one document. These are the real areas of activity for the medium term,” the Minister added.
