GOMEL, 30 July (BelTA) – RUP Belorusneft-Osobino is working on expanding export shipments to Asia, BelTA learned from the enterprise’s Director Yevgeny Lukomsky.
The executive said that products of the enterprise have been sold in Asia this year. The first batch was shipped to China in January 2020. A number of other shipments followed. The Chinese partners are primarily interested in chicken feet, various wing parts. The enterprise is working on contracts to sell more of other kinds of products, too.
Russia remains a major consumer of Belarusian poultry meat. Belorusneft-Osobino products are also in demand in Georgia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, other ex-USSR countries.
On 30 July Belorusneft-Osobino opened four modernized poultry houses in Buda-Koshelevo District, thus doubling its meat production capacity. The enterprise intends to make 57,000 tonnes of poultry meat in 2020.
According to Yevgeny Lukomsky, the reconstruction of facilities allows not only balancing the enterprise’s manufacturing capacity, reducing the prime cost of products, but also increasing export sales.
The republican unitary enterprise (RUP) Belorusneft-Osobino is one of the largest poultry meat producers in the region (60%). It also grows cereals and colza and uses a complete-cycle production process. It is one of Belarus’ top five producers of poultry meat. The enterprise puts a lot of effort into export diversification.
