Belorusneft named best company in promoting oil, gas industry innovations in CIS
GOMEL, 21 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian industrial group Belorusneft has been named the best company in the Commonwealth of Independent States and Russia in promoting innovations. The recognition has been granted by the Russian division of the Intervention & Coiled Tubing Association (ICoTA Russia), the company’s press service told BelTA.
The laureates were awarded during the 17th international science and practice conference on coiled tubing technologies, hydraulic fracturing, and downhole treatment. The conference took place in Moscow and gathered specialists, customers of oil and gas industry services, manufacturers of high-tech special equipment from about 50 companies from Russia, the USA, Belarus, Austria, Germany, and Canada.
ICoTA Russia has awarded Belorusneft for three years in a row. In 2014 the Belarusian oil extraction and oil industry service company was recognized the best company in Russia and the CIS in promoting innovations. In 2015 Belorusneft was named the best company in hydraulic fracturing operations.
The Belarusian industrial group Belorusneft was founded in 1966. The company specializes in the surveying, prospecting and development of oil fields, well drilling, oil and associated petroleum gas extraction in Belarus and a number of other countries, including Russia, Ukraine, Venezuela, and Ecuador.
